Join us at Yandles for the Record Power Roadshow and Sale with Woodturning Spotlight, featuring guest woodturner Andy Fortune, alongside Record Power’s resident experts. Hosted onsite at Yandles, this event offers a great opportunity to see expert woodturning techniques demonstrated live.
Andy will be delivering FREE demonstrations across both days, covering a range of techniques and projects:
Friday 23rd January
10am – 1pm: Making a wooden ball, including the construction of a ball jig.
1:30pm – 4pm: Making a base for the ball and fitting the bearings.
Saturday 24th January
10am– 12:30pm: Vase making and hollowing techniques, including colouring and applying finishes.
1pm – 3pm: Finishing the vase, lacquer burnishing and final parting off.
Whether you’re new to woodturning or looking to refine your skills, this is a fantastic opportunity to learn from experienced professionals and see our machinery and accessories in action!
