Made entirely from American White Oak, made as a nursing chair for my daughter when she was nursing my Grandson. The back rail/stiles/arms/seat and rockers were all cut and shaped by hand, legs and spindles all turned by hand on my Record CL1 lathe. The whole assembly was carried out using PVA adhesive and finished with melamine lacquer. 21 years on and the chair is still in use although not for its original purpose but it does have a central position within the household and is used daily.
