Vessel in Ply and Acrylic
This bowl was made using reclaimed ply and acrylic, layered and glued into a weighty blank for turning. The centre was bored to allow a bud vase to be held in the neck.

The layers of acrylic break up the surface pattern, giving a lovely contrast of colours and textures.
Interesting Effect
From above it can be seen how the concentric layers differ in depth as the contour of the vessel changes.
